Fr. Mario Conliffe

Rector

Fr. Mario became our rector on January 1, 2013. He is from The Bahamas and is married to Barbara Conliffe (nee Franks). Fr. Mario was ordained a deacon on July 11, 2001, and a priest on July 22, 2002. He has a Bachelor and Master of Arts degree in Theology, and a Master of Science degree in Counseling. He is also a licensed mental health therapist in Maryland. Fr. Mario is also a former banker, and High School teacher and principal. He is an avid sports fan, and enjoys great food, music, and fellowship. Fr. Mario lives by the philosophy, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength’ (Phil. 4:13). This belief, however, is always undergirded with the understanding that “we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us” (2 Cor 4:7).
