Sunday School

Weekly Between Services

We have a vibrant Sunday school program for all grammar school-aged children that runs during the regular school year from September through June. It is based on the Godly play curriculum. Sunday school classes start after the 9:00am family service (around 10:00am) and run concurrently with the Adult Forum and coffee hour so parents are welcome to enrich themselves further or enjoy some fellowship in the parish hall while the children are in their classes. Additionally, our Vacation Bible School (VBS) each summer is always a resounding success. We rely on the many volunteers and students… and we’re never sure who has more fun!

Youth Group

Bi-weekly between services

At St. George’s we are here to share our lives together. We are a community brought together by a common desire to follow Christ. We share not only our time together, learning how to follow Christ, but also our lives-connecting with each other and having an awesome time together while we grow! The middle and high school age youth meet between services, from 10:00 – 10:45, every second and fourth Sunday. The Youth class consists of three parts. The first is a Spiritual segment using curriculum called re:form Ancestors and has been in place since 2013. We will be discussing stories from the New Testament. The second segment is what we are calling “Life Building”. The third segment will be team building exercises. We meet at other times during the year for fun events and service projects.

Adult Forums

Weekly between services

The goal is to help adults grow into their lives with God. Forums are led by parishioners and clergy and cover a variety of topics from ministries at St. George's Church to Bible study. Highlights of each year include everything from Spiritual Life to a Lenten Bible study. New topics are always welcome.
