Grow and Serve through Commissions
The commissions shown below guide some of the most important ministries in our church. They all welcome new members and new ideas.
Outreach
This group heads our efforts to help the less fortunate in our community and the world. Its activities includes support for soup kitchens, food banks, clothing drives and similar charitable activities. For more information, contact Linda Goodman at 443-864-9396
Pastoral Care
This group coordinates our support for our own members in times of illness, bereavement, or other family problems. They provide food, transportation, encouragement, and sympathy. For more information, contact Jennifer Christman at 443-895-9595.
Fundraising
We can afford to do more good in the world because we use fundraising activities to supplement our member donations. This commission plans bingo games, spring fests, gift card sales, and more. For more information, contact Leah Rayburn at 410-610-5455.
Stewardship
This group encourages the sharing of our time, talent, and treasure in support of God’s work. It conducts the annual pledge drive, plans ministry fairs, and provides information on sharing. For more information, contact Beth Hester at 410-596-3363.
