Fr. Mario has been a priest since 2002, and the rector of St. George’s since 2013. He was born and raised in the Bahamas, where he worked as a public school teacher and principal. He has earned both bachelors and masters degrees in theology, as well as a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health. He has a Ph.D. in Clinical Education and Supervision, and is a licensed mental health therapist in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
As the senior lay officer of the Church, the Rector's Warden serves as lay consultant and advisor to the Rector.
The People’s Warden provides lay oversight of church functions related to outreach and the management of buildings and grounds.
The Treasurer receives all funds given to the Church, makes all payments on behalf of the Church, and maintains all financial records.
The Registrar records the minutes of Vestry meetings, prepares reports as required, and maintains the Bylaws of the parish.
